睾酮(Testosterone)又称睾丸素、睾丸酮、睾甾酮，是分泌到血液中的最重要的雄性激素之一，由孕烯醇酮合成，孕烯醇酮本身由胆固醇形成。睾酮由男性的睾丸或女性的卵巢分泌，肾上腺亦分泌少量睾酮，其具有维持肌肉强度及质量、维持骨质密度及强度、提神及提升体能等作用。在成人中，每天大约合成5毫克睾酮，并在血浆中循环，主要与蛋白质结合，包括特异性激素结合球蛋白(SHBG)和非特异性蛋白质如白蛋白。据报道，生物可利用的睾酮包括游离类固醇和白蛋白结合类固醇，它们约占总睾酮的35%。
